For a new Porsche dealership in Rocklin, California, murakami/Nelson was tasked with creating a building that reflected the brand values of Porsche – high performance and design superiority. The 26,700 s.f. facility uses clean lines and modern materials to draw the public's attention from the road. The curved 28-foot tall show room wall is clad in aluminum composite panels with a contrasting band of clear glazing below. The service component of the dealership is marked by a contemporary service canopy that leads to the customer write-up area. The service garage itself contains 17 working bays along with two wash/detail bays.
