San Francisco's 1 .5 mile highway known as Doyle Drive, originally built in 1936 has since been re-envisioned as the Presidio Parkway. Scheduled for completion in 2020 the project will be delivered through a unique public-private partnership; the first of its kind in California. Golden Link Concessionaires will design, build, finance, operate and maintain the project for 30 years. murakami/Nelson as the architect of record for the Golden Link design team is responsible meeting the Architectural Criteria Report which identifies how the roadway relates to the existing historic, cultural and scenic resources of the Presidio.
